This was a special shoot for me because it was with my little cousin Jaxon. I think the last time I did one with him was in Kindergarten and as you can see he's not so little anymore however he's just as sweet! For about 3 years in a row I got Jaxon as a secret Santa, and one of the last years I got him he whispered to me " I hope you get me every year" Melt my heart. He has such a sweet heart. 

Tegan you're doing an amazing job both of your kids are so smart and have hearts of gold. and TALENT lots of TALENT.

This was also the first time I did family pictures on my property and they turned out so beautiful.

When my high school friend says "cheeks, will you take picture of me and LAN?" of course I had to give it a few thoughts because you see he's a Seahawks fan.... hahaha

In all seriousness, I was so excited - for years I've been hearing Jake talk about LAN. From re decorating this room to surprising him with his first car. You can tell how much he just adore LAN and how proud of him he is. The best part is when you can freeze a moment in time and see it with your own eyes. I'm proud of you Jake - from Egreen parties to an awesome father!

It's a crazy season of life when the people you went to high school with ( which seems like it was just yesterday ) and littles' who are in highschool currently. I wish you both all the best. GO BRONCOS.

This was such a bittersweet shoot for me. My brother and I were lucking enough to spend a lot of time with our cousins's. Summers in California and School year in Washington. We have so many amazing memories with all our cousins' - Ones that we laugh about often. and make fun of each others misfortunes with countless inside jokes. Ones' I still find myself laughing about to this day. We "were" the lucky ones. It's so crazy where life takes you. Definitely down some paths you never expected. If I had it my way ALL my family would live in the same area so we can be in each other's lives and watch all the little ones' grow up. Like we (kinda did) as kids. Those memories are priceless to me. I say all that to say - I was so excited to finally shoot one of my favorite cousins kids! It makes me sad to think of all the growing years I've missed. 

To Ashleigh, I've already told you what an amazing job you're doing with the kids but it can't hurt to tell you again. They're so sweet, so respectful, I love seeing their personalities - even know Dilly doesn't think he has one haha. The love they have for one other is so special and I hope it alway stays that way. You're hard work has paid off. I'm still dream and praying that one day I will be lucky enough to be a mom too, and I'll need to call you for some tips! Love you Ashika to Starlet and back. Gran and your dad would be so proud of you. 

I hope I capture this day with all the little details. Which happen to be my favorite thing. I know it's just one day but it's one of a million.

I'm so incredibly proud of you Drakey. From watching you as an infant and trying to balance school, work and looking after you - it was hard but I'm so happy to have those moments with you! Watching football games with you, talking all kinds of smack, so our highly emotional talks, to family fights around the Easter table, to dying laughing at all of our inside jokes about your mom hahaha. WG<WG<WG<WG<BG<GREG hahahahaha. You are amazing! I love that you stay true to your heart yet you're not afraid to say when you messed up. I'll always have your back just like I did from the very beginning. I miss you guys so much. Congrats 2020!!

One of my cousin I was closest to growing up - boy do we have a lot of amazing memories. We dreamt of these days all grown up with when we get married and have little ones of our own. We even played countless games of MASH to figure out who our husbands' would be and the name of our kids, etc. Those were the days. A lot as changed since those days but our shared love for fall is still going strong! I loved celebrating your first birthday Hank! Even though it was an 80 degree day in October in the PNW - we had so much fun. I would like to add for the record my chili did win SECOND PLACE in the chili cook off.

It's a day that reminds us that we can save lives. Maybe even the life of a loved one or a perfect stranger. By being registered as an organ donor - going to donate plasma or blood you could be saving someone life. Some one who is desperate to live just one day normally.  Remember that when you're complaining about how you didn't get the perfect Valentine's day -  there's people out there fighting for their lives  ; most likely silently. 

My dad surprised me with some beautiful red roses for Valentine's Day. I think I'm one of the lucky ones who's dad often surprised me with something little every Valentine's day growing up. This year I decided to play around with the lighting. Which I have yet to master, however it's also fun to try to learn a new skill. 

Hope everyone MADE the day great or at the very last made someone else's day..

This shoot was pretty special to me; my baby cousin Joel (Joe for short) is getting married. I was so honored that he asked me to do this pictures. Thank you for believe in me. It's so crazy to think about the fact that we are even old enough to get married. Since, it just seems like yesterday I was carrying you around although, it seemed like you weight as much as I did. You'll always be my middle seat partner for our many long road trips. A mama's boy. "turn the nintendo OFF" So passionate about the military even as a child. Our family. Sports. I'm so blessed so have many, many of my childhood memories most which involve you and our family. I know anything you do you put your heart an soul into and you will succeed. Never forget that. And listen up Tay ;) I wish you both the most amazing life possible. We just knew we were having fun..

I use to daydream in Elementary school of how I would rearrange my room when I got home - with piece of paper I would sketch out how I want to move things around.  The funny thing was with it's being the early #90s ; I had a sweet waterbed which essentially is an Interior designers nightmare. I was limited to just moving my desk and dresser and all the detail on top of it. You have no idea how many time Is would move those back and fourth. I think I was my mothers' worst nightmare. 

That was just the beginning of my love affair with design. I love looked in JCPenny catalogs, pottery barn - anything that showed you what a space could look like. As a child I never knew that you could actually do that for a living. Even take it a step further and become an Interior Designer. So, that's exactly what I did. My love for looking at Interior spaces hasn't faded one bit. You don't even want know how many hours I spend looking at the newest Pottery Barn catalog when it comes in the mail. Or how many of them I cannot part with. 

All that being said - My mom has a passion for building her own furniture.

I'm not completely in love with these picture. I prefer a lot of natural night. And the Pacific Northwest wasn't cooperating that day.
